My name is Anthony and I am a Software Engineering student at Monmouth University. I am pursing a Bachelors of Science and plan to go for my Masters degree immediately after. I really enjoy the opportuntiy to develop unique projects and below are some of my favorite through my college career.

The Outlook Mobile App

This is my SE-485 Practicum Project I am currently working on. The Outlook is the student run paper for the university. I utilize a REST API that allows the application to retrieve article data from the Joomla CMS the website is run on.

Section Page

This is the view from the section page of the app, news in specific. The user can filter through articles by volume and scroll through articles untill the desired article is found.

Sections List Page

This is the view from the section list page. The user select any desired section by tapping on the associated icon or text.

Snake

This is a remake of a retro game, popular in the late 90s, developed using LibGdx during time in SE-360 - Introduction into Game Development written in Java

Gameplay

The UI is kept simple to maintain a retro feel that is truer to the original game.

Discord Bot

This is a project written using the Discord Java API to write a Discord Bot for the popular text and voice chat Discord. This was developed during my Sophmore year of college and has been slowly updated throughout the years. I host the bot on my personal desktop and frequently use the bot in my own Discord chat server.

Quotes

The bot has the ability to store quotes given by using the trigger word "d!" followed by by the command "quote" + a number. The same can be done to add quotes or delete quotes by using "d!a-quote" + the quote or "d!d-quote" followed by the corresponding number associated with quote to be deleted.

Message Purging & Magic 8 Ball

The bot also has the ability to delete the message history of the text channel the command was called in. The bot can also function as a magic 8 ball and answer yes or no questions.

Petri Net

This is a project written for my SE-306 Formal Methods course to develop a working petri net generator with a working GUI that allows the user to input the desired places and transitions and see the reachability tree for the given input.

Input Screen

This is the view seen after inputting the desired number of places & transitions. A table is generated and The user is required to input the number of tokens during each Input for each transtion and each Output for each transition.

Output Message

Finally, the inital markings are required to be inputted, and the output for the data set can be generated and written to file.

About Me

I am a 22 year old avid software programmer that enjoys tinkering with both the software and hardware space. I built my own desktop computer from the knowledge I amassed watching some great influential tech Youtubers. Apart from tech, I also play piano and I am very involved in weight lifting.
